7 weeks old

It is amazing that he is nearing 2 months old already. I am just amazed at how quickly that he is growing. The most impressive thing is how chubby he is getting. He is now wearing 3 month clothes...at 7 weeks!!! Most of his sleepers are too small for him. He is barely getting to wear his 0-3 month clothing because they are all too small.

He is such a good baby. He sleeps allot during the day, but still sleeps great at night. Our usual routine is feed at 11, feed at 3, and then feed at 6. Not too bad. He goes right back to sleep. Now, if only he didn't wake me up choking because of his reflux, then I would sleep allot better!

Barret and I are making our first big trip together next week! We are flying on Thursday to visit with my family! I am so excited for them to see him, but I'm terrified of flying with him by myself! I don't think I'll be able to breastfeed him while traveling, so I'm going to bring lots of stored up milk with me. Hopefully the trip will be uneventful. Even with all of my worries about the flight, it is so worth it for everyone to get to finally meet him. It is so hard being so far away from family.

6 weeks old today

I just can't believe that he is already 6 weeks old today! Where is the time going!!! My tiny baby is replaced by the chubby little man. He is growing SO fast!!! He has chub rolls everywhere.

he is starting to hold his head up, follow you with his eyes, and today, I think that he genuinely smiled for the first time today!! It was amazing.

I still have a few weeks home with him (thank GOD!) and then I will have to leave him to go back to work 3 days a week. I miss work and feel that i have allot to get done, but it is going to be so hard to leave him with someone else!

I placed him on his play mat today....so enjoy!

Barret's chubby!

5 weeks old

we went on Barret's first vacation this past weekend with Travis' parents, Gama & Big Daddy. We all had a great time, especially Barret, who is now spoilded beyond repair.

I thought it would be fun to do a day in the life of Barret so everyone can see how exciting his little life is :) He was exactly 5 weeks old on this day.
