Later that Night...

posted by Travis

Hey now,

Finally, at around 9:00 last night, Barret made his way to our room and Eleisha was able to see him outside of the operating room.

Now, let me say this.  I don't want to jinx anything, but if this kid keeps behaving like he is now, then this should be a piece of cake.  Let's hope it continues, because Barret is a very happy content baby that rarely makes a fuss right now.

In any case, we had a good night until he went back to the nursery around 12:30.  Here are just a few pics from last night, including his first "official" diaper change [the nurses doing it didnt count] and Eleisha holding him for the first time.

...more sure to come

Darlin', he does NOT have your nose! He has your eyes and chin but I think he has MY nose!!!! He is a beautiful baby and I think he is going to be as content and happy as his parents were as babies.
Love the pictures and it makes me feel a part of those caring for him.
Love,
Gramma Colleen
