3 weeks old

I can't believe that Barret is already 3 weeks old. Time is certainly flying! I took him to the doctor today, and he now weighs in at 9 lbs. 4 oz. and is 21 inches long. He is starting to really fill in, a double chin and rolls. 

He is very strong and can roll onto his side and moves his head around ALOT! His favorite thing is to be held :) surprise surprise! He loves to be wrapped up in a blanket and held close. 

He is such a good baby! He eats every 2-3 hours during the day, and every 3-4 hours at night. He doesn't cry alot (Thank God!) and doesn't require his paci to sleep. I can feed him and lay him in his basinet awake, and he will go to sleep on his own.

The only problems that we are having with him is his breathing. He will choke and stop breathing, specifically at night. Hence our visit to the doctor. The doctor listened to everything that was going on, and said that he has reflux. As long as he is gaining weight and not throwing everything up, we are just going to keep an eye on him and keep him elevated after eating. I really like my new pediatritian. 

we enjoyed having Kirk & Shalonda with us this weekend. It is so fun to see how adding Barret has changed everyone.
